Stephen Herold

I have been working in the real estate industry for 40 years practicing as a third generation Realtor in Northern and Western New Jersey. I currently reside and work in Palm Coast, Florida serving all of Flagler and Volusia Counties. I have lived in New Jersey most my life but have been drawn to Florida for the last 20 years and became a permanent resident a few years ago to be closer to family.

My wife and I chose Palm Coast for many reasons including our daughter being a University of Florida (UF) graduate living in Gainesville, the beautiful east coast beaches and the desirable, quaint Flagler Beach which provides a better lifestyle for us and our son.

Our New Jersey Real Estate firm was founded by my grandfather in 1947 in Bogota and then moved to Hackensack in 1963 when my father joined the firm. Over the decades we expanded to four offices in both Bergen and Sussex Counties, which provided experience in varying types of specialized properties.

I began both selling and appraising real estate at the age of 18 handling all aspects of properties from residential, commercial, farmland and retail land acquisition, as well as managed our primary offices in Bergen County. For over 15 years we specialized in smaller retail site locations, specifically for developing banks and drug stores throughout Northern NJ and Southern NY. Over the years our appraisal firm grew as well, having appraised thousands of properties for varying clients, again all aspects of property types were evaluated. Here in Florida, I am actively working with 1031 tax deferred clients, providing investment alternatives both in and out of the state of Florida as well as specializing in Property Management and Leasing Services.

My main passion for this area is what brought us here and my desire to help customers find their dream property on the East Coast of Florida. I look forward to providing you all the information you need to guide you in your decision.
