My background in gem exploration led me deep into Maine’s landscape, including developing historic sites like the Berry Quarry, where I uncover tourmaline pockets and mineral deposits that had been hidden for generations. My grandfather, a ship captain, once rescued one of the King’s vessels at sea—an act that earned him a knighthood and a King’s grant of land in the area around Dover Road and Ocean Point.
