Steve Hobbs

Steve has a background in the housing industry that started in college. He put himself through school working as a union trained carpenter in the summers. After college, he continued to work as a carpenter for a couple of years. In 1991, he made the move to Chicago and decided to start selling them, instead of building them. His primary focus and marketplace are the diverse neighborhoods of the city, but he has also helped many families make the move to several of the surrounding suburbs, from as far north as Lake Forest and everything in between and out towards the western suburbs to Geneva. Small multi-family properties is also a focus of his. He owns and manages several rental properties. He finds this to be a very stable, and financially rewarding investment over time. Because of his construction knowledge, he has also worked successfully with contractors and rehabbers interested in rebuilding some of the many beautiful properties here in Chicago.
