Steve Hudson

Steve Hudson has been a sales manager/designated managing broker with Compass since The Hudson Company was acquired by Compass in July 2018. Steve has been in real estate brokerage since 1995. Prior to brokerage, Steve worked with Citicorp and the former First Chicago in real estate finance working with national developers across the U.S.

Steve manages the Winnetka and Evanston offices for Compass both of which are home to some of the most productive and effective real estate brokers in the Chicagoland market. The culture of Compass is what drew Steve to the company and his #1 Compass entrepreneurial principle is collaboration without ego. Currently, Steve is the Immediate Past President of his real estate board - the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors which is the third largest board of realtors in the state of Illinois. He has served as President and Treasurer of the Board and has also served on the Professional Standards Committee for over 20 years. Steve also served as an Ombudsman for the Illinois Realtors Association.

Steve has lived in Winnetka since 1990 with his wife Joanne and has two grown children who live in Chicago.
