After a successful career in investment banking and finance, Steve felt a calling to chase his passion to help people and his lifelong interest for real estate led him to obtain his real estate license in October 2020. In his first full year in real estate in 2021, he earned the prestigious NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence Gold - Sales Award, Coldwell Banker Realty's Rookie of the Year 2021, the Coldwell Banker President's Circle award, was named to the Best of the Best Reception for the top agents of Coldwell Banker in New Jersey and was a top 10 Finalist Rookie of the Year in the Nation for RISMEDIA! These accolades are a testimonial to the care, exceptional service, devotion, expert negotiation skills and attention he provides his clients. Steve speaks multiple languages including Portuguese, Spanish and some French and has been conducting transactions across many counties across the state while developing a strong referral network across the state and country.

Throughout his life Steve has lived in Union, Essex, Bergen, and Middlesex counties and has familiar firsthand knowledge of what it is like living in numerous communities in those various areas. He grew up in Newark and Belleville and then spent his middle school and high school years attending the Cranford Public schools where he was an All-State track runner while playing in the marching band at Cranford High School and participating in many clubs and non-for-profit organizations. The intense sense of community and belonging led him back to Cranford in 2016 where he and his wife have since welcomed two young sons and become incredibly involved in the community. Being an active member of the community as a volunteer in several notable organizations and as a husband of an experienced educator in a nearby school district, provides Steve the insight and knowledge to assist his clients in navigating the many facets of buying and selling a home.

As a local property owner and landlord, he is also well versed to assist prospective renters, homeowners and investors alike find the criteria that match their housing and investment property needs. He and his family are big supporters of many local area restaurants, businesses, and events and can be relied on for the best recommendations. Additionally, his financial background and career experience working in NYC navigating the NJ bus and train schedules provides invaluable experience to help his clients receive the best guidance for their real estate transaction needs.
In his free time Steve enjoys running, playing basketball and soccer, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family.
