12/19/2014 - yhzg12 Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $325K in Oceanside, CA.  We met Steve randomly at an open house he was hosting. We didn't have an agent, so we decided to give him a chance at finding us a home. That was a great decision. Steve is a North County San Diego native and knows the area like the back of his hand. He got us into the right home fast. He found us a great home which we love. He was a terrific advocate during escrow, followed up with all the inspectors and repair companies and made the entire process of buying a home easy! Jose & Bree Bought a home in Vista for $220K Steve was is an awesome agent! We recommend him to all of our friends and family when ever we have an opportunity. Super friendly and really thought about our needs. He did not pressure us but did the opposite by telling us not to buy anything until we felt it was right! We were surprised to find that he wasn't like the other agents. He was down right honest all the time. He actually wanted to help us find a great home that we actually like and never tried talking us into anything. He even pointed out major flaws in homes we viewed that would be a problem for us. He happily went out of his way to drive us from town to town in search of the perfect home for us. He is personable, friendly and honest. I will recommend him to my family and friends. 03/09/2015 - bhinshaw Bought a Condo home in 2015 for approximately $450K in Carlsbad, CA. I have purchased five homes in California over the past thirty years and Steve was, by far, the best and most professional agent I have dealt with. He is very knowledgeable about the market and his professionalism helped us save money and get the best deal. We looked at many homes and it was at times a bit tiring but Steve never lost his support and enthusiasm. When it came to negotiation he was absolutely outstanding clearly getting us the best deal but making sure at the same time to be fair and open. It was his negotiation skills that really impressed me but he was also helpful in making sure we had whatever we needed to complete the deal. Excellent. Derek, Purchase a home in Escondido $375K My wife and I just closed on a house, using Steve as our agent. He was amazing. He was very quick at responding to emails, calls and texts. He was honest with his oppionions on properties we viewed and he was patient with us and our pickiness. He knew what we would like in a home more than we knew ourselves. My wife and I are a young couple, but he took us serious and did not treat us like children. He helped make the first time home buying experience smooth and as stress-free as possible. I was so lucky to work with Steve Tauber during my first home buying experience.
