Steven Barnes

Steven is a 4th generation in a family enjoying Fair Oaks and Orangevale since 1910. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where he traveled to England, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Israel, Singapore, and Spain. After boot camp, he was stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, on the U.S.S. Independence CV 62 Aircraft Carrier.

Steven has worked at an assortment of jobs over the years, including postal carrier, motorcycle repair, wine distribution, truck and equipment repair, and printing. While working at the print shop, he began studying for my real estate exam. By this time, he had moved back to Fair Oaks, making his daughter the fifth generation of my family to live there.

Steven has been a REALTOR for 20 years, and work as a "New Agent Mentor" at the Fair Oaks Lyon Real Estate Office. He attributes some of his strong negotiating skills to many years of buying and selling vehicles.
