Susan Shaffer, Broker, Emerson Wagner Realty Company has been named the 2021 REALTOR® of the Year by the Midwestern Ohio Association of REALTORS®. Shaffer became licensed as a REALTOR® in 2015. She became a broker with Emerson Wagner Realty in 2018. During her tenure, she has mentored and helped launch the real estate careers of multiple REALTORS. She currently serves as the president of the WRIST MLS Board of Directors.

Shaffer combines her career with volunteering and home life. She has volunteered with various community organizations such as Sidney-Shelby County YMCA Board of Directors, Sidney-Shelby Co Chamber of Commerce, and the Young Professionals Connect Board.

She has helped numerous individuals and families become home-buyers. She is a strong advocate of promoting Sidney and the Shelby County area to prospective home buyers. Her efforts represent a community that offers excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, and a thriving community.
