About Susan

Real estate is where tradition meets change. That tradition of client care while staying up to date on the latest residential innovations, home search, and home selling options makes Susan’s career a true joy – both to her and her clients. No two houses are the same just as no two clients are the same, the market is constantly changing, and each season brings a new set of opportunities and challenges.

This is what drew Susan to the real estate industry back in 2003. After 15 years in the day spa industry where providing five-star service and exceeding customer expectations was a daily practice, she combined her experience into helping buyers and sellers achieve their home buying and selling objectives. making clients the center of her focus, she offers experience, integrity, and results to her clients with the goal of enriching their lives through buying and selling homes and making lifelong relationships. She understands the value of community, the individual and unique neighborhoods, and current market conditions for and buying homes.

Susan enjoys helping her clients make their next. She spends a lot of time educating her clients about the market and the different homes they might be interested in. Houses are always exciting and fun to explore! Each holds a history behind the walls, and she finds it a challenge to match the home with its next steward.

Since the late 1890s, five generations of Susan’s family have called Seattle home. Her great-great-grandparents moved to Alki beach, and her family still lives on Alki Beach today. Her family also has long time ties to Edmonds and Kingston. Her great-great-uncle was well-known Arthur Loveless who built notable homes in some of Seattle’s earliest neighborhoods.

It was through her family that she her passion for history and vintage homes. In 2005, she undertook a “Rehab Addict” renovation of a 1901 log home. She has also renovated a 1906 Craftsman, a 1918 Bungalow, and a 1960 mid-century ranch home. She is connected to the community and historic societies helping people purchase specific period homes and is familiar with local artesian tradespeople who specialize in different period renovations.

Susan enjoys spending time with her family, trying new local restaurants, and participating in local community events around Edmonds and the Seattle area.
