I was out in Northern Virginia in late September to view potential investment properties, including houses and lots. Susie is extremely knowledgeable about real estate in the Gainesville, Haymarket and Manassas areas. She showed me various properties and discussed the potential upside and the investment, including home improvements. Susie is highly qualified, very responsive and fun to be with. I very highly recommend her to be your real estate agent for both buyers and sellers.

Susie is much more than just a realtor. She's an interior decorator, voice of reason, advisor, negotiator and honest person with the utmost integrity! She'll be by your side every step of the way and never steer you in the wrong direction. Susie has been my realtor through 3 home purchases and her creative ideas and suggestions have always been spot on and gotten me the best bang for my buck. The best part is that she's become a very close and beloved friend and I would recommend her expertise to everyone!!!

I was planning on selling my home myself. It was in a highly visible area and in a terrific location and I knew that all I'd need to do was put out the sign that I'd ordered and list on Zillow and other online sites and I'd do well.

Then, a friend recommended that I talk to Susie. She went over the whole property carefully and told me that with work, she could get a much better price than I'd hoped for. I learned that not only was she a long-term, successful realtor, but she also had an extensive background in remodeling and staging. She also had an outstanding contractor - Virgil who could help at an extremely reasonable cost. She had a track record as well of helping other sellers get more than their asking price.

I knew that I'd be paying realtor fees, but decided to take a chance and go with Susie...and it paid off!

She was true to her word and stuck with a remodeling project that turned out to be a lot longer than expected when several hidden problems came up. She was responsive to all my calls and texts, had excellent advice and could be decisive when needed. Many times, she found terrific deals on supplies and once went after a landscaper, that tried to take shortcuts - and got a substantial, partial refund for me. She also enlisted friends to help out at no charge.

I also really appreciated that she respected my religious values and didn't push to have work done or show the house on Sundays even when the weather was perfect and it was the best day to show the house.

In the end, she was able to help negotiate a price that wasn't just well above what I though I could get for it, but even more than she originally projected.

I could've held out for even more because of the high-quality renovation, but in the end, I decided to sell to my wonderful neighbors, so it never even went on the market so there was never bidding war. Susie could've pushed me to do an open house, and really market my home (and she did counsel me that I had that option), but in the end, she was respectful and supportive of my decision.

If you decide to hire Susie to help you sell your own home - you can give yourself a pat on the back and shake your hand - she'll take very good care of you!
