She made the process simple and easy, breaking everything down into manageable pieces so we never felt overwhelmed. We're so lucky we found Susan, she's extremely skilled and knowledgeable. We have now purchased two homes with her as our agent including our hopeful forever home. As a real estate professional myself, I truly appreciate her attention to detail and her organization which are so key to closing real estate transactions. With our recent purchase there was a more than usual amount of due diligence work needed based on the type of home, and Susan's knowledge and hard work helped us get all the information we needed. Susan Wise just sold our property at 2409 Tolowa Trail in Placerville. Throughout the whole
process, Susan was the consummate professional — skillful, knowledgeable, practical. To start
with, she came up with an excellent valuation of our property which indicated to us that she really
appreciated its unique qualities. More impressive yet, was when the appraiser’s estimate for
the property came in spot on!
Before listing the property, Susan went way above and beyond — she spent a lot of time doing
some deep cleaning. She even added drawer and cabinet pulls in the kitchen to give it a more
modern look. She brought in lots of furnishings from her warehouse to stage the house. She
removed a rather unsightly wood pile. She hauled away a travel trailer that we were concerned
about moving. Whenever some problem came up, her response was always “I’ll take care of it.”
For instance, at her encouragement, we left quite a few pieces of furniture that we didn’t know
what to do with, and Susan happily found good homes for them all.
Susan also gave us good recommendations on whom to hire to perform various inspections
(house, roof, pest, etc.) and we were able to make some of the necessary repairs ahead of the
listing. Then, once the listing went live, she scheduled an open house for the next weekend,
which increased interest about the property.
We received two offers within the first week. Susan again showed her expertise in the negotiation
process which led to our accepting a full price offer. Susan kept us well-informed all through
the escrow proceedings. She was always quick to respond to questions. She was invariably polite,
cheerful and upbeat.
We are all very grateful that we had Susan working for us. She secured an excellent price for
our property and she made the whole process smooth and easy. It is clear that Susan loves doing
what she does and anyone would be fortunate indeed to have her as their realtor.

Susan helped us buy a second home in Pollock Pines and she was just terrific to work with from start to finish. She is incredibly hard-working, stays on top of all of the details and seemed to always be available, getting back to us right away. She guided us at every step of the purchase process, told us all about the local area, and even was able to point out a home’s construction details that we should consider (eg, what’s a quick fix vs a more expensive repair). She’s energetic and positive which kept us going when we got discouraged. Susan is also very honest and upfront which was helpful. Plus, she’s just a really nice, fun person to be around. Even hearing how she manages the sales process (for other clients), we could see how she is a step above the rest. We highly recommend her as a real estate agent.

We decided to start looking for the property of our dreams and realized that we don’t know any real estate agents in the area we were interested in. Yelp came to rescue and by pure chance, we found Susan, who was already highly reviewed by many others. We went to meet her, without knowing what to expect. What we got was an hour-long nice, friendly conversation in her office, just talking about what we were looking for. At the time, there were no available listings for us to look at, but nevertheless, she used that meeting to learn about us, our interests and priorities.

A couple of weeks later, we found what we were looking for but in a different area than where she usually does business. Despite that, we still decided to work with Susan, as we knew we could trust her to have our best interests at heart.

It was the first time for both of us to purchase land, and so we relied heavily on Susan to guide us along the way. We had a million questions, from: ‘is there garbage collection in remote areas?’ to ‘where do we get a land loan?’ and everything else in between. She helped us every step of the way, and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time.

Susan is very positive, proactive and practical. She understands all the important things to watch out for during the process and will always make you aware of the details (liabilities, buyer/seller responsibilities, fees, escrow process issues). She is very punctual and gets back to you quickly to answer any questions you may have. Susan keeps the process details flowing so that you can focus on your plans for the property. She knows her market area very well and has many references and resources for financing and local services. It was a pleasure working with Susan and we would highly recommend her!

I sold my first house and couldn't have found a better realtor than Susan. She was quick to answer emails, text messages and phone calls for all my questions! She was more than helpful from start to finish. From the moment we met her, we immediately felt trusting of her and confident in our decision to have her as our real estate agent. I loved how she would update me continuously through out the whole process and I was never stuck not knowing what was going on with the sell! We were so lucky to find Susan. She was with us every step of the way. We were coming in from out of town and so had places in mind to look at. She was able to tell us about the neighborhoods and even knew some of the neighbors so could get more information than we could ask for. On the day we found our house, it was her birthday, we knew the market was tight and we wanted to get our offer in as soon as possible. She was able to write the offer letter, and helped us to understand what details are really important for helping to convince the seller that our bid was the right one, and she submitted it that day. Even though there were multiple offers on the property, ours was accepted. We are so happy and so grateful for the work that Susan did to help us close. She organized the inspections, pointed out what things she knew needed to be done and to renegotiate those costs, and her husband even helped dig the septic covers out for inspection. She went above and beyond and we are so thankful. We will definitely keep in touch and, once the pandemic has passed, I hope that we can find some time to celebrate with her in person. Thank you Susan!

Susan is by far the best realtor I have ever worked with. She is available and responsive. She spends her own time and talents to help prep the property to get the most people interested and the highest offers. She is honest about the property, what it is worth, and the pros and cons of each offer.

Her commitment to providing the best service is rare, and I appreciated it so much that I had her sell an additional property for me. Again, the same excellent service. I absolutely recommend her!
