About Tabb

Tabb is a native Floridian, born and raised in Tampa until he moved to Gainesville, Georgia in 1975. Since that year he has called the Gainesville area his home. Lake Lanier provides his family and him with many outdoor activities, which they take full advantage of everything it has to offer.

Tabb loves the lifestyle where he works, plays, and dines. He loves spending as much time as possible on the lake with his wife, Marcela, of 28 years and their two daughters.

His hobbies include water skiing, gardening, and weight training. His father owned and operated his own business, and he worked very closely with him throughout his life. During this time, Tabb’s father instilled in him the burning desire to control his own destiny. He was a huge fan of “the art of the sale.” Tabb was hooked on the self-help books of that time such as Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, and many others. He became a student, then an expert on the “ABCs” of selling. All the greats teach one golden rule, excellent customer service.

Tabb started his real estate career in 1999 and by the year 2003, he had opened his own real estate firm. He has been the managing broker and CEO of Chestatee Brokers Realty since 2007.
