Tammy Stotts

I’m Tammy Stotts, Broker and Owner of Southern Nest Realty in Columbia, Kentucky. My husband, Barry, and I live on a farm in Adair County, where we enjoy the beauty of country living. We’ve raised four wonderful children and are blessed with three amazing grandchildren. Our family loves spending time outdoors, working on our home, and serving alongside our church family.

After attending Lindsey Wilson College, I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. For 25 years, I worked in office management and business administration, developing a strong foundation in organization, communication, and customer service.

In 2004, I earned my Real Estate Sales Associate License and began what would become my true calling. For the first 16 years of my real estate career, I worked as a Sales Associate while managing another career, specializing in helping buyers find their dream homes and retirement properties. During that time, I built lasting friendships with clients who often returned or referred others—relationships founded on trust, integrity, and care.

Feeling a deeper calling to make real estate my full-time career, I pursued my Broker’s License and, through God’s guidance, achieved a lifelong dream. In February 2020, Southern Nest Realty opened its doors—a locally rooted real estate company serving Columbia, Adair County, and the surrounding communities. I am proud to be licensed in both Kentucky and Tennessee.

I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors for the South Central Kentucky Association of REALTORS® and the Board of Directors for the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce. These roles allow me to give back to the profession I love and contribute to the growth and success of our local community.

In my spare time, I love to read, travel, and see new places—but no matter where I go, there’s truly no place I’d rather live than Kentucky. I enjoy connecting with people, planning and hosting events, and all things home—from decorating and design to shopping for the perfect piece. With an eye for detail and a passion for excellence, I pour my heart into everything I do. These passions naturally carry over into my real estate career. My love for design, creativity, and organization helps me guide sellers in preparing and showcasing their homes beautifully—ensuring they make the best possible first impression.

Building Southern Nest Realty has been one of the greatest joys of my career. I love working with people—both clients and coworkers—and helping others achieve their goals. I’m incredibly proud of what our team has built together. At Southern Nest, our company culture is simple but powerful: God and the law first, the client and others second, and self last.
