Born in Germany and raised across multiple cultures, Tanja moved to the United States in 2003 and has since lived in five different states before choosing Colorado as her permanent home. Her journey has been shaped by the core values of hard work, resilience, and entrepreneurship—principles that continue to guide her personally and professionally.
As a proud military spouse of more than 20 years and a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Tanja brings firsthand experience with military life, PCS moves, and the unique challenges faced by service members and their families. Her extensive background working directly with the Department of Defense (DoD) and veteran affairs gives her unmatched insight and a deep understanding of the relocation process. She has built strong networks, mastered complex transitions, and is uniquely equipped to support clients navigating any type of move—especially those connected to military life.
Before launching her real estate career, Tanja worked in wholesale and foreign trade, obtained insurance licenses in several states, and spent years working directly for the Department of Defense—further strengthening her operational expertise, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
Today, Tanja is a dedicated REALTOR® with HomeSmart and served as the listing agent for Mayberry Communities in Calhan, Colorado—a fast-growing new-build community.
Committed to leadership and professional growth, Tanja is the 2026 Vice President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® – Pikes Peak Network, where she is passionate about elevating the industry, empowering fellow REALTORS®, and strengthening the community. She is also currently in the Pikes Peak association REALTORS® Leadership academy.
Beyond real estate, Tanja is deeply involved in serving military families. She is an active USO volunteer and teaches financial education classes at the USO, helping service members and their families gain confidence in budgeting, credit, homeownership readiness, and long-term financial planning.
Having bought and sold several homes herself, Tanja understands how important a smooth, stress-free experience is. Even before becoming a REALTOR®, she was the trusted resource for friends and family navigating repairs, relocations, purchases, and sales. Real estate has always been her calling.
