Tanya, also known as "Mrs. M" by her agents, is a Managing Broker in Virginia, and a Principal Broker in North Carolina. She has worked in the real estate industry for over 19 years. During her first three years in real estate, Tanya was a "Top Producing Agent", receiving Gold & Platinum Circle of Excellence Awards from the Hampton Roads Realtors Association. She also has an extensive Mortgage Banking background of 23 years.
Tanya served as President of the Tidewater Association of Mortgage Brokers, and President of the Virginia Association of Mortgage Brokers. Tanya holds a Master of Real Estate Degree in residential Real Estate Sales, Marketing, and management (2016), and another Master of Real Estate Degree-Real Estate Assets and Property Management (2018), both with distinction. Also, she is a member of the National Association of Realtors Leadership Academy Class of 2018. Tanya has served on the Virginia Realtors Board of Directors (2015-2018). She was Virginia Realtors-Manager of the Year 2016.
Tanya has been an active member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association since 2000, where she has served on the Board of Directors, and numerous committees. Tanya is committed to providing a “motivating & positive” environment for her agents to thrive. She is a certified mentor for Buffini & Company, which provides agents with the knowledge to build their business by referral. Also, as a business consultant/coach, Tanya gives every agent the opportunity to develop and review their personal business plan.
