About Tara

Born and raised in Dorchester, Tara O'Riordan comes to Gibson Sotheby's International Realty bringing extensive knowledge of the Dorchester and surrounding areas. Tara currently lives in Ashmont where she has resided for the past 10 years; although her expertise is not limited to this one area having lived in Fields Corner, Adams Village, Jamaica Plain, South Boston, and Quincy. She graduated from UMass Boston's College of Management with a Dual Major in Sociology. She continued her education at Springfield College graduating with a Master's in Education with a focus in Higher Education Administration. Prior to joining the real estate industry Tara spent time in fundraising and development for Boston area non-profits with an emphasis on job training and education. She also worked in the Advancement/Alumni office at UMass Boston. Always keeping her foot in the hospitality industry, Tara came to find that it was something she truly loved. Going on her tenth year at the Ashmont Grill and sixth year as the General Manager, she actively stays involved in the community and genuinely enjoys creating relationships. A woman that is trustworthy, dependable, and honest, Tara has seen firsthand, and is excited about, all of the positive changes in Dorchester and across the city. Tara's love for Boston, dedication to each client and professionalism sets her apart from others. Her main goal is to find a home that suits each client so that they too can share the love of their home. Originally from Dorchester and Dorchester by choice, Tara can assure that she will find a perfect fit for all clients, having a true sense of the fabric of the different Dorchester neighborhoods. Having the patience to walk through each step of the buying, selling, or renting process, Tara can guarantee that she will provide each client with services that are second to none. By putting the needs of her clients first and using her excellent communication skills, Tara has the ability to deal with any and all situations with ease.
