Tara Schiffmann Brown

She is an experienced Cape Cod Real Estate Agent with the local real estate market knowledge of someone who grew up on Cape Cod, has seen the world, and like many, has returned home to the Cape to stay! A graduate of Barnstable High School, Bates College, and Georgetown University, she has an undergraduate degree in Spanish and graduate degrees in Business Administration and Public Policy.

She has years of international banking experience working in the Latin American Divisions of Bank of Boston. Her diverse background in business, high tech, and marketing, as well as her fluency in Spanish and Portuguese, make her a valuable asset. Prior to joining Bayview Real Estate, she worked for Hewlett-Packard in Palo Alto, California, in their E-Services and Global Network Service Provider Business Units, partnering with dot-com companies, mobile phone operators, service providers, and software companies, jointly bringing their solutions to market. She has returned home to the Cape and has been immersed in Cape Cod real estate for the past twenty one years, owning a Yarmouth Port antique, "the little house with a big heart", a Cotuit ranch, "on golden pond", and a Barnstable Village cape "on Maraspin Creek". Tara served on the boards of the Barnstable Village Association and the Barnstable Historical Society for ten years. She resides in Barnstable Village with her husband David and son Emmett. She brings her business skills, experience from her world travels, hard work ethic, determination, and friendly personality to our office.
