About Tawana

Meet Tawana Porter, Broker in Charge of Hometown Real Estate. Tawana comes to Hometown with over 15 years’ experience in the Real Estate industry. She currently serves on the State SCR Leadership Academy, as well as a National Association of Realtors committee where she strives to make this industry and her business the best it can possibly be. She served as the 2021 MLS Chair for the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors and loves to give back to her community by volunteering each year with Habitat for Humanity.

She is a lifelong resident of the area, married with three wonderful children, and three grandchildren that she enjoys "making memories" with any chance she gets. She has found her passion in helping others buy and sell and believes in making the experience a lifelong relationship instead of a business relationship.

Home Interior design is another passion of Tawana, and she uses that to help sellers prepare their home for market, as well as helping buyers with the "vision" when they may not see it. Her success is based almost exclusively from referrals and repeat clients.
