Thomas Downing

Thomas Downing, Vice President of Brokerage Services and Designated Managing Broker for @properties' Winnetka office, the top-producing real estate office on the North Shore. The Winnetka office has more than 180 licensed brokers generating over $1 billion in annual closed sales volume.

Tom began selling real estate in 2013 after a career in business management consulting, where he specialized in counseling and coaching businesses towards increased profits, and supported Fortune 500 companies like AT&T, Disney, and Pan Am. He joined @properties as an agent in 2015 and built a successful team, leveraging his passion for developing agents to their highest potential.

Tom consistently ranked among @properties' top producers, and over the years he has been recognized in a number of ways. In 2016, Tom earned @properties' "Road to Rolex" award for elite producers and was named "Rookie of the Year" by Chicago Agent Magazine. He has also appeared on Chicago Agent Magazine's "Who's Who" list and the cover of Real Producers Magazine.

After seven years in sales, Tom joined @properties' management team in 2020. He is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment and using his experience as both a successful broker and former management consultant to help agents grow their business and reach their personal and professional goals.

A North Shore native, Tom can often be found at one of Chicagoland's many great restaurants. He has traveled to many places throughout the world and is an avid triathlete, having competed in the Chicago Triathlon and the Ironman Triathlon.

Tom holds his Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) and is currently serving on the Board for the North Shore-Barrington Association of REALTORS®?.
