We had an amazing experience buying our house with Team Shepstone! One of the best things about working with Tim and Allison is the collective breadth of expertise you get. They are very successful at buying and selling houses for clients, but they also buy houses themselves, completely renovate them, and put them back on the market. So they are experts at valuing houses, having a creative vision for how a house can be renovated, and knowing what the costs will be and what it will take to do the renovation. We were looking for a particular house/property in an area where there is very low inventory. Tim and Allison helped us find a lot of potential properties, and each time walked us through how it could be transformed into what we wanted and what it would take to do it. Because they have excellent local connections, Tim wound up finding us an off-market listing that was perfect for us. We couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. I'll also add that both Tim and Allison are extremely responsive, invested in the process, and expertly take care of everything in the process. They will be your true partners and land you the house you want.

We had a phenomenal experience selling our house in Encinitas with Tim & Allison Shepstone, and can't recommend them highly enough. We met Tim first and knew he was the right realtor because the first time he came to the house he immediately had a very keen understanding of our of our house, and had insightful and effective recommendations for how to accentuate its strengths address it's weaknesses. At our first meeting he impressed me with his deep knowledge of the local real estate market and his strategic ability to position our house to get the offer we were hoping for. Then we met Allison, and we immediately loved her. She has an amazing eye for design and style and how to transform your house so that it looks amazing for potential buyers. (For those who have seen the show Fixer Upper on HGTV, think of her as the California Joanna Gaines). My wife and I almost wanted to keep our house and not sell it after she was done with it. The money that we put into prepping/staging the house paid off 5x when we sold it. Tim and Allison were able to get us the offer we wanted within a couple days of having the house on the market, and expertly guided us through every single detail and step of completing the sale. The two of them together are a powerhouse combination, they are real estate experts, know the market extremely well, are uber-responsive, and on top of that, they're great people. We were so happy with the experience that we went right back to them when it came time to buy our new house.

Working with Tim Shepstone was a pleasure! My husband and I sold and bought with him this year. He is very knowledgeable about the housing/real estate market, he is very professional and always made himself available when we needed him. He and his wife make a great team and offer an awesome combination of real estate and design advice. We highly recommend him as an agent!
