About Tim

Tim’s parents moved to Greenville, South Carolina while he was attending East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He fell in love with this great town because of the home town atmosphere, proximity to the beaches, mountains and lakes and decided to move here after college when he married his wife, Della. That was over 38 years ago and today he has grown to love it even more.

Tim and Della have raised their two boys, Christopher and Patrick, in Greenville and have loved every minute of watching their boys grow and participate in all of the local sports the schools and the county leagues have to offer. Tim’s favorite sport is golf & he also loves to take the family boating on the beautiful lakes the area has to offer and going sightseeing on day trips in the mountains. Now Christopher and Patrick are active members of The Toates Team and are proving themselves as Top Producers.

During Tim’s 27 plus years in real estate, Tim has been actively involved with Greater Greenville Association of Realtors serving on committees RPAC and Grievance to better our profession and for the past 16 years has lead The Toates Team.
