About Tjede

After having lived and worked in several countries in her early years after college, Tjede McVey found a home base with her husband and two children in Chester County. She has been a resident of Kennett and Landenberg for the past 17 years.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College and a master’s from the School for International Training. Early on, her passions for travel, culture, and athletics shaped a varied work history that included teaching, sales, and administration in a wide array of settings. She has competed in triathlons and marathons including the Lake Placid Ironman and the Boston Marathon. While her serious competition days may be behind her, her membership at the Kennett YMCA keeps her endorphins running.

Service to her clients is her driving motivation. Assisting someone in finding their “just right” home base where they can live their best life is truly fulfilling. Her desire to help people, paired with her excellent listening skills and integrity, are qualities she brings to her career in real estate. As her clients navigate the excitement and apprehension of the home buying process, they can rely on her sincerity and dedication to guide them.
