Before I put my stake in real estate, I spent many years as the managing editor of newspapers. Publishing award-winning daily newspapers might not sound like it applies to real estate, but when you examine the skills necessary for each, the similarities surface. In journalism and real estate, it's not just the end of the story that matters; it's also how you get there. I think you get there with dedication, care, a desire for quality and, of course, honesty.
