About Tom
Associate Broker Tom Ring guides clients to success backed by a unique combination of interior design expertise, real estate knowledge and a vast network of local connections.
After studying accounting at Fairfield University, Tom began his professional life in sales at 3M. Several years later, he launched a career pivot by selling antique furnishings to an international clientele by day and studying interior design at Parsons School of Design at night. After an apprenticeship with International Hall of Fame interior designer Billy W. Francis, Tom founded Tom Ring Interior Design in Chelsea. Over 14 years, he transformed a contemporary residence In Seoul, a 19th century Connecticut farmhouse, a grand vacation home on Long Island's East End, a spectacular Manhattan apartment, California office spaces and many more. Earning a reputation for unique designs that sympathetically reflect architecture, setting and client desires, Tom was a featured designer in the Montclair and Rye show houses.
Tom has always believed that living in beautiful surroundings enhances the quality of one's life. Today, that same principle guides his approach to serving residential real estate clients. Applying his proven business and service skills, he carefully guides buyers and sellers through each aspect of their transaction with the ultimate goal of creating an elevated experience and delivering seamless, stress-free success.
A Long Island native and longtime resident of downtown Manhattan, Tom devotes significant energy and focus to following real estate trends throughout the city and has remained active in the interior design community. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, heading to the gym and taking tap dancing classes, which keeps him on his toes as much as his work does.
