Hello, my name is Torya Mathes-Evans; servicing your real estate needs within the Central Maryland communities. I am here to help you find your “home sweet home” and/or assist you with the selling of your current home.
I was born at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Hickory, NC and moved to Maryland at the age of six. I have spent time in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Knoxville, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina where I graduated from high school. After graduating college from South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC where I received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science with a minor in Child Development, I was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and I’ve moved several times during my active duty career.
Upon my decision to leave active duty and become an Army Reservist where I am proudly serving my 24th year; I completed my Graduates Degree and received a Master’s of Science in Business Management. I have since worked in several Distribution Supervisory positions, worked as a Realtor in South Carolina, served as the Director of a Preschool, as well as a Program Manager (civilian) for the Department of the Army.
Now that my husband and family find ourselves back in the great state of Maryland, my passion for helping and serving others has led me back to real estate! As you can imagine, I understand the anxiety associated with relocating to a new home and/or area; and I am willing and able to ease those anxieties and make it an enjoyable venture.
I am driven, energetic, and customer service focused. I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships that will endure for years to come. Whether you’re civilian or military.....I’ll do “whatever it takes to get you home”
