They were consistently quick to respond and fix any issues I submitted through the online portal and the apartments were very affordable.
After moving out, they charged us for damage we didn't do. I contacted them about it and they were able to find proof that it was like that before we moved in (why it wasn't fixed before we moved in, I don't know) and they refunded the charge.
Overall pretty pleased with this company.
The only real issue I ever had was them nearly doubling the price of laundry without any warning.

We have only been renting for a couple months but it has been by far the best place we've ever rented! Coming from another state and having to move a toddler was stressful enough, but Lisa did everything she could to help with that burden. She took me on a video tour of the house, showed me the changes( paint, carpet, etc) and she was helpful when we were trying to get into town. She has responded quickly when I contact her with a problem, our heater had issues and she had a repair man to us in 2 hours to fix it! She has mostly been our only contact with the company, but it is so nice to have someone who personally knows our issues and I don't have to explain the situation everytime I call. She has been patient with us and kind even when I call her on a sunday(heater issue). They have created solutions for any problems we've had. Lisa definetly deserves a raise and I look forward to renting from them for the next 3 years!

We met Janet Moore when we initially were looking for a house in the Manhattan area. From the beginning, it was clear she would be responsive and service-oriented. However, her true willingness to go above and beyond and support our house came out as she worked with us for nearly six months as our search took us much further away than the region she specialized in. Janet helped us make offers on four different houses, helping us navigate problematic inspections, a seller who backed out on the sale at the last minute, and finally the house we ended up buying. Responses of questions are timely, very helpful and easy to work with. We are at the Westridge Apartments in Junction city and when we first arrived we had the essentials (toilet paper, broom, shower curtains) this was a really nice touch and very much appreciated! My wife and I were first time home buyers and they were so incredibly helpful! They never once got impatient with us or pushed us to buy a house even though we probably looked at thirty houses and asked a hundred questions. Mathis Lueker has been managing a property for me for a little over a year. I had one tenent change so far and in winter it only took a little over a month to get a new tenent. All repairs are overseen and complete in a timley manner and nothing is done without my approval. Very pleased and will keep this rental through them for many years to come!

I rented a house in Junction City through Mathis Lueker. Everything went very quickly and smoothly during the rental process. It made my move here amazing. Everyone there was very welcoming, helpful, and understanding. They always remembered who I was everytime I came to their office. The service was great! Two appliances, a washer and dishwasher, needed to get replaced, while staying here. They were very quick to respond and send maintenance personnel over. I would recommend them to anyone who would ask. I appreciate all the welcoming and helpful energy.

I am in the process of renting a home through ML long distance. Today Betsy took me on a virtual walk thru of the property, which I greatly appreciated since I am not able to go up there ahead of time. She has been FANTASTIC to work with and has greatly eased my stress about this upcoming move. We just submitted our app today so it’s not a done deal yet, but I wanted to give my feedback anyway.

I’ve read the reviews from other renters and honestly, I’m not concerned. These are all complaints that I feel could have been avoided if tenants had properly read their lease.

In a few years when my husband and I are ready to purchase a home, I fully intend on using ML to find our forever home. THANK YOU!

I have nothing but praise about Mathis and Lueker Real Estate and their employees (specifically Jill Iwen, Staci Schroeder, and Angie Greenwood). We started looking for realtors and houses while we were still in a different state and Angie was amazing at helping us through every little step. When we were finally able to view houses a family emergency called Angie away yet she still prepared everything for her coworker Staci. Staci did an absolute wonderful job showing us houses despite having not dealt with us AT ALL prior. Angie even selected a house for us not on our list (which we ended up buying) because it "suited" our lifestyle and character. Prior to closing I was waiting on my husband and Jill made me feel comfortable and discovered "small town" connections between us. Even after closing Angie went out of her way to stay in contact, make us feel comfortable in our house, community, and now town. Below is the beautiful sign she gave us as a house warming gift. Not only is she amazing at her job, you can tell she enjoys doing it and cares about more than just selling houses, but about you as a family and the community. Highly recommended!

Mathis Lueker is one is the best property management companies I've ever rented from. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful, and if there was ever a maintenance issue (which there were very few in the 2 1/2 years we rented through them), the issue was fixed immediately. When it came time for us to move, they were very respectful of our time and courteous about scheduling showings to re-rent the property. Also, I had heard several complaints from others (not all of them regarding MLPM) about not to ever expect your deposit back and I can tell you that is completely false. We cared for our rental house, and upon move out we followed the move-out checklist they provided and thoroughly cleaned everything as directed and we were returned our deposit in full. I highly recommend Mathis Lueker to anyone looking to rent a home or manage their property. We had nothing but positive experiences and will definitely rent through them if we're ever stationed back at Ft. Riley.

My wife and I came from overseas and we where looking to buy a home here in Junction City, Kansas and settle down after 42 years of traveling with the Department of Defense.

We would like to thank Jodie for doing a excellent job finding the right house in the right area for us. She was just a phone call away if we had any questions or wanted to see a house again. She help us through the whole process because the last house we had purchased was in 1987.

Everyone at the office is extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend to all my friends looking for a home in the area.
