A Rhode Island native and current resident, Tyler grew up in Barrington and graduated from Moses Brown (’03) and Colby College (’07). Armed with only a Philosophy degree and fear of a 9-5 desk job, Tyler began his career teaching middle school Math and Science on the northside of Houston, TX with Teach for America. He returned to New England to attend Harvard’s Graduate School of Education (‘10), pursuing a Masters in Teaching and Learning. At the age of 27, he became the youngest principal in Massachusetts, leading a successful middle school turnaround in Lawrence.
After a rewarding decade in the world of public education reform, Tyler returned to Rhode Island with his wife, Stephanie, and three young children, to pursue another passion – real estate! Since 2020, Tyler has been involved in over 100 transactions ranging from first time home buyers to commercial investment properties, with a little bit of everything in between. In 2022, Tyler and Stephanie opened a local boutique brokerage, Cote Partners Realty, in the historic waterfront district of Warren. They own and operate three short term rentals in the East Bay area.
Tyler is fully dedicated to his clients’ success, be it buying, selling, or investing. And with the help of the team, he offers a combination of white glove service with blue collar work ethic, ensuring every small detail is accounted for along the way. His goal is to create the real estate brokerage equivalent of a Disney World or a W Hotel; an experience reverse engineered for client happiness along every step of the process.
Tyler is a designated Military Relocation Professional and member of the National Association of Realtors, Rhode Island Association of Realtors, and The Greater Providence Board of Realtors.
