If you’re looking for a realtor that will work for you all day everyday then Val’s your gal! We hired Val to sell 2 homes and purchase another and she was ahhh-mazing! These were complicated transactions due to timing and logistics and she was able to get everything done and set up in the perfect timeframe! She negotiated deals that were way more than asking and took care of all the details of our sales including an all cash offer and in just a few days! She will let you know what you need to do to sell the house at top dollar. Just do as she says, trust her, she will deliver. She was also a rockstar when it came to buy our home. Even through the toughest buyers market she got our FIRST offer accepted in a market where people are getting outbid 6-7 times before getting an offer accepted! No outbids, no competition, no heartbreaks, no hassles. She’s an amazing negotiator and got us a 3000+sq house in VB Salem area for $156/sqf when the market is at $180-$200, 7-9 school ratings and on a Ct. I have met Val through some friends in common few years ago. When the right time for our house 🏡 shopping has come I had no doubts who I would ask for help and I never regret it.
Val has a great reputation, few friends recommended her as a very patient and customer oriented professional who really cares to deliver 100 % satisfaction for her clients.
I just didn’t want to run into a sales person who would push me something I don’t need and I felt safe with Val.
She’s truly on your side either it about the best choice of your future property, writing the offer or work check list to be done before turnover.
My husband is a military and he’s very busy. Luckily Val was very quick and flexible with timing and schedule in order to accommodate our needs even though we had to communicate very late on the day or during the holidays.
I think through all the house buying process she became our lucky charm.
We’ve got a home we liked quite fast, the offer she advised was very profitable for us, her recommended lender gave the lowest interest rate and all the other things like home inspection, insurance quote and so on had the best price possible. She did save us a lot of money!
Well, the day I will be ready for the house upgrade she’s my number 1 and only choice.

We recently sold our house. Val was our agent and she is FANTASTIC. We cannot say enough about the great experience we had in the sale of our home. She went above and beyond with her services. Val was OUTSTANDING!!!
I had to put my house up for sale on short notice and had to relocate across the country within two weeks of listing it. I talked to a couple of agents but none was as responsive or knowledgeable as Val. Val knew that my home was worth much more than what the comps and an appraisal showed, due to the unique features, local market and high demand, and she priced it accordingly. She was very efficient in coordinating with the buyer's agent, addressing concerns and keeping the ball rolling, and communicating with me. After a couple of low ball offers, and based on excellent input from her, I decided to put a new roof and do some repairs which she coordinated and oversaw, securing excellent contractors who did the job quickly and in affordable fashion... all this while I was in a different time-zone!
The house was sold 2 months after it was listed, for about $50K over what it was appraised for and what I expected to get for it.

Importantly, Val was genuinely super nice and pleasant to deal with, very tactful when making suggestions, and easy going and responsive when she had to go above and beyond to make sure my house was in the best shape to sell. That alone took away much of the stress of selling a house from a distance.

I STRONGLY recommend Val Milan and Bold Realty for anyone buying or selling a home in the Hampton Roads area!

I just closed on my first home last night, and I just want to thank Val for all the hard work she put in to make the process as smooth as possible for me. She was very professional and quick to respond to all of my concerns and was not pushy and didn't try to convince me to accept a home/offer that didn't meet my needs. I'm in the military and currently live in California and was not able to be present for the home inspection/walkthrough, so she went above in beyond by doing a video call with me and recording videos/taking pictures of the home through various angles. She did not try to hide the defects in the homes she showed me, and I was able to confirm that she was honest with her presentation of house I purchased when I flew to Virginia to look at the house earlier last month.
