I cannot recommend Vasili Barbounis highly enough. We came from across country to buy an investment property for our daughter to live in while attending school in Philadelphia. We saw a listing of his on line and contacted him cold. He was very knowledgeable and personable on the phone and immediately set us up with listings to view on line that were in our price range. Based on what we chose as favorites he quickly figured out what we were looking for. We flew in for a weekend to look at properties and he spent 3 solid days with us driving us all over Philly. His knowledge of neighborhoods was outstanding. This was so important because we had never been to Philly. He was very cognizant of our wanting something safe for our daughter and in driving range of school. He led us away from some properties knowing that we would not have been happy with them even though he would have benefitted form a higher sale. He is a real people person and spent the time to make sure we ended up with what we wanted. We found the perfect place but it was a competitive market. There were 4 offers. He negotiated very skillfully and even though we were not the highest bidder we got the property. I believe that was because of his interaction with the other agent and the owner. Two months later we closed. All through the move-in process he was there for us. Answering questions about changing over utilities, alarm systems, just about everything (including restaurants!). He never passed us off to an assistant even after the deal was closed. He is smart, personable, competent and patient. We were so lucky to have found him. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We met Vasili Barbounis when he was representing the buyers of our Philly house. After being highly impressed with his professionalism, integrity, honesty and warm personality we decided to ask him to help us buy our country home; something that wasn’t his specialty but quickly became an area of expertise. Vasili immediately read up about all things we needed to be careful about; well, septic, flood zones; and helped us go through inspections and difficult negotiations - all while maintaining the utmost respect for our sellers. In a world full of people who see real estate as just a quick buck; Vasili is the RARE GEM that cares about his customers and actually takes time to answer every question, call, text sometimes into the wee hours. He has amazing (creative) vision for home improvement and “gets people” which enables him to make sure you and your home are a perfect fit.
