VERNITA JULIEN

Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, and residing here in Florida for close to ten years, Ms. Julien has witnessed the growth of the city, and has become very fond of its beautiful surrounding cities…

A twenty-two-year, retired US Navy Veteran, with a background in Logistics / Management. She holds a Master’s in Transportation and Logistics Management and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. During her career she worked as a Navy Recruiter, with an exceptional record where the philosophy in ‘Sales’ was taught and executed as top priority. Her efforts in ‘sales’ allowed advancement to the next paygrade, and the experiences in customer service, marketing, and helping others have remained a passion. Since retiring she’s worked in the Federal Government, and corporate fields in Logistics and Finance. However, finding the most joy working in sales positions in retail, and health and fitness fields; helping others has been a driving force in fulling her goal of becoming a Real Estate Agent.

Her own personal experience during the homebuying process, (without an agent), is an experience she would never recommend for anyone… purchasing her home and getting the bumps and bruises of learning the homebuying process along the way was challenging, so she realizes the importance of having a skilled, and knowledgeable Real Estate professional. She wants to ensure potential buyers and sellers have all the facts and knowledge during all phases of the home buying real estate process, as well as understanding their financial strengths months after the big purchase.

The skills of being a disciplined athlete carry over in her professional life as well. Ms. Julien is a marathoner, a member of the Nationwide runner’s group, ‘Black Girls Run.’ She is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) personal trainer, a competitive bodybuilder, and athlete of ‘Team Bombshell Fitness’, Inc. She is also a member of ‘The Mission Continues,’ a non-profit for Veterans, by Veterans, and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
