We bought a house in April of this year ('22) with Vince. His knowledge of Portland's neighborhoods is deep, and he has his finger on the pulse of the market. I was impressed with his attention to detail and understanding of what we were looking for. He did not rush the process, was generous with his time, and helped us write competitive offers without overbidding until we had an offer accepted. He was a wealth of knowledge from the time we started looking through closing. We're very happy with the house we're in and the price we paid, which is a feat in this market and a credit to Vince's ability. Anybody looking in Portland would be wise to contact Vince.

Any new (or seasoned) home buyer can attest to how extremely difficult the current housing market is right now, especially for first time home buyers.

My wife and I started our journey with Vince in October 2021. We were close to our down payment goal and wanted to start dipping our toes in the water of being first time home buyers. The first week after downloading all the essential “home buying” apps, we came across a home that we wanted to see. One call to Vince and we had our first viewing scheduled. We told ourselves we were going to be patient, but to our surprise, three days later we submitted our first offer.

Vince walked us through all the details of the offer in great detail, what to expect, and much needed advice on how to be competitive home buyers. Submitting your first offer can be a very overwhelming experience. The paperwork, fine print, clauses, and all the money involved will make your head spin. Without the tribal knowledge and experience of Vince, we would have been stressed beyond belief. We had the opposite experience, by having all the information and council from Vince, we were prepared for contingencies, counter offers, and ended up playing the best hand possible. What happened next many of you have most likely experienced, someone offered 55k over asking and our hopes for that home were dashed.

The months to follow, we viewed a dozen or more homes and Vince was there to make them happen. He went above and beyond to book all the viewings in our availability windows, even driving out to Oregon City the same day he got back from a ski trip with his family to show us “the one”. Getting a text from us at 9pm to book a viewing the next day, he still made it happen.

He is extremely committed to his clients and focuses on finding you a home that meets all of your expectations/requirements! His attention to detail and critical eye saved us from making offers on homes we would have regretted. Perfect example is we “fell in love” with a home and without him pointing out the quality of the siding, flooring, and cabinets we could have been stuck with a 20k maintenance bill within five years.

We finally found a home in Sherwood that we could be competitive on and Vince did what he does best. He immediately got to work by reaching out to the selling agent to introduce himself and get a feel for what the sellers were expecting in an offer. He ran a market analysis on the neighborhood to determine what price we should come in at to be the most attractive offer without overpaying. After multiple phone calls and emails to the listing agent, he was able to to dial in all of the sellers needs and wants. We put our best foot forward and submitted our offer! His hard work put us in the front of the pack and we had had our first accepted offer!!

If you were thinking an accepted offer means you are now the owner of the home, you would be wildly mistaken. Home inspection, argon testing, appraisal, rent back, title submission, insurance, and the list goes on and on. Vince guided us through this process like a Conductor of a symphony! All the steps were laid out for us in great detail and it allowed us not to be overwhelmed and we actually enjoyed the process!

We are getting the keys on Monday, 5/9/22, and without Vince, we would not have found the Perfect home for the Perfect price!

We are referring Vince to all of our family and friends that are wanting to search for their first or next home!

He is a 5 Star Realtor and will make your home buying experience one to remember!

Vince was awesome to work with. He was attentive, engaged & responsive. He helped me find a place while I was out of state and was willing to look at the places for me. He listened to what I wanted and gave me honest advice about properties. I trusted his opinion about the market options. He lined me up with a lender and answered all my questions.
