About Vivian
Having lived in the greater Charlotte area since the mid 1970's, I've known Charlotte before it became a big banking city. Since then, the city has seen tremendous growth and development in every direction. Charlotte has always had a young, vibrant feel and we love how well the city has grown.
I began my professional life as an elementary school teacher in Winston-Salem, NC. I taught kindergarten and first grade for 4 years in Winston-Salem and then 7 years in Charlotte, NC. I thoroughly enjoyed her time teaching.
It was about this same time that I bought her first home. In the next few years, I had several friends buy homes. I often encouraged them to buy, driving around and looking at houses and researching neighborhoods with them. I caught the bug and soon made the transition into real estate.
I have been selling real estate in the Charlotte area since 1999. In 2000, my husband Mark joined me. We have helped families find homes from Lake Norman to Lake Wylie and from Gastonia and Belmont to Waxhaw and Weddington. We believe that one of the most important things that we can do is to truly understand our clients' goals and then streamline the buying or selling process for them to make that goal a reality.
An interesting thing that happens and that speaks volumes about Charlotte is that often when we meet with a new family or person to discuss selling their home, they always want us to know how special their neighborhood is. They want us to know that their neighborhood is the best in town. People think their neighborhood is the best, all-over Charlotte! We hear this all the time. Almost every neighborhood has a shopping/dining area that is unique to their neighborhood. In the summer, one can drive around on a Friday night and see live music on restaurant patios. One will see people outside, either enjoying the music, or walking/jogging, riding bikes or city scooters. The city has great leaders who have also kept the arts alive. From traveling Broadway shows to local theater, outdoor concerts and art shows, numerous family activities and events, festivals etc... there is always something going on. If it’s a quiet weekend, one can take a short drive to the mountains or a weekend trip to the coast or stay closer to home and visit the Whitewater Center or one of our local lakes. Charlotte is a great place to call home. If you’re thinking about making Charlotte your new home, call us. We would be happy to give you a tour and show you around our lovely city! Living in Charlotte is something we love talking about and being able to sell homes in Charlotte is the absolute best!
