About Vivian
Having lived in the greater Charlotte area since the mid 1970's, she knew Charlotte before it became a big banking city. Since then, the city has seen tremendous growth and development in every direction. Charlotte has always had a young, vibrant feel and she loves how well the city has grown.
She began her professional life as an elementary school teacher in Winston-Salem, NC. She taught kindergarten and first grade for 4 years in Winston-Salem and then 7 years in Charlotte, NC. She thoroughly enjoyed her time teaching.
It was about this same time that she bought her first home. In the next few years, she had several friends buy homes. She often encouraged them to buy, driving around and looking at houses and researching neighborhoods with them. She caught the bug and soon made the transition into real estate.
She has been selling real estate in the Charlotte area since 1999. In 2000, her husband Mark joined her. They have helped families find homes from Lake Norman to Lake Wylie and from Gastonia and Belmont to Waxhaw and Weddington. Mark and Vivian believe that one of the most important things that they can do is to truly understand their clients' goals and then streamline the buying or selling process for them to make that goal a reality.
An interesting thing that happens and that speaks volumes about Charlotte is that often when she meets with a new family or person to discuss selling their home, they always want her to know how special their neighborhood is. They want her to know that their neighborhood is the best in town. People think their neighborhood is the best, all-over Charlotte! She hears this all the time. Almost every neighborhood has a shopping/dining area that is unique to their neighborhood. In the summer, one can drive around on a Friday night and see live music on restaurant patios. One will see people outside, either enjoying the music, or walking/jogging, riding bikes or city scooters. The city has great leaders who have also kept the arts alive. From traveling Broadway shows to local theater, outdoor concerts and art shows, numerous family activities and events, festivals etc... there is always something going on. If it’s a quiet weekend, one can take a short drive to the mountains or a weekend trip to the coast. Charlotte is a great place to call home. If you’re thinking about making Charlotte your new home, call us. They would be happy to give you a tour and show you around their lovely city! Living in Charlotte is something they love talking about and being able to sell homes in Charlotte is the absolute best!
