About Wendy

Wendy Carrington is an action-oriented broker who is committed to being responsive and attentive to the specific needs and goals of each client. With a background in property management, she experienced firsthand how providing outstanding service made a difference in the lives of every resident. She obtained her real estate license shortly after attending the University of Washington, more than 30 years ago. Since then, Wendy has dedicated her career to helping Sellers get the best price and terms for their home sale, and helping Buyers find the perfect home for their needs.

Wendy is the co-founder of the Carrington Durr Group with her co-founding partner Van Durr and team members Preston Durr, out of the John L. Scott Seattle Center office. She represents Buyers and Sellers assisting with single-family homes, condominiums, multi-family and commercial real estate needs in the greater Seattle area including Broadview, downtown Seattle, Green Lake, Eastlake, Capitol Hill, Magnolia, Maple Leaf, Ballard, Greenwood, and other key Western Washington locations.

Following up with all parties involved in the transaction and communicating these updates to clients is an integral part of Wendy’s business. This process can often take its toll on a client, whether they are buying or selling, so Wendy knows how important it is to have clear, consistent, and streamlined communication. Her dedication to service has resulted in thousands of successful transactions as well as lifelong clients and multiple top producer awards.

Wendy has given back to her community by volunteering over the years in here North Seattle neighborhood for different community events such as the Bite of Broadview. She has also coached the speech team at her son’s former school and volunteers with her office to help prepare and serve dinners for the Ronald McDonald House. Additionally, the Carrington Durr Group created a giving program, donating to their clients’ charities.

In her free time, Wendy and her family are passionate about traveling the world and exploring new cultures.
