William (Billy) Olasov is a lifelong Charlestonian and has been in the real estate business for 45 years. He joined Roadstead Real Estate Advisors, LLC in 2020 after having his own brokerage, The William Olasov Co., LLC, for 38 years. Having been a one-man company and managing over 165 rental units in addition to selling and listing investment and residential properties, Billy felt it was time to join and merge his management portfolio with a larger company to give him more time to focus on commercial / investment real estate brokerage.
A significant part of the allure of Roadstead was the long-established management division and its capacity to absorb and handle his rental portfolio as well as the brokerage division, which concentrates on commercial sales and leasing, but is also extremely well versed in general investment and residential transactions. With the knowledgeable and supportive team at Roadstead, Billy is looking forward to executing on his commercial skills and expertise. His statement “I will now be able to do what I want to do in real estate and not what I have to do” says it all about this new affiliation.
Billy is a past President of his congregation, Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim, a past President of the Hebrew Orphan Society, a past President of the Hebrew Benevolent Society, and previously as well as currently serves on the boards of other Jewish organizations in Charleston.
