About Zach
I am a first-generation college graduate despite the turbulence of my upbringing in a broken home. I got my Bachelors in Political Science from USD in 2012.
My first job out of college was in early child development as a preschool teacher. I didn’t expect it, but that was the best career I had before real estate. I left for the insurance world out of financial necessity. I kept advancing in that career and became comfortable, but felt unfulfilled. I numbed those feelings by pouring alcohol on them.
8 years went by in a blink of an eye.
I began real estate in the best/worst year possible. 2020. I quit drinking, recovered strained friendships, and restarted relationships with my family. I regained my sense of self.
2021 was year one of the new authentic me. I took control of my physical and emotional health. My relationships grew, and my career started to pick up. The problem was I didn’t know my ideal
client. I realized this in the Fall of 2021.
I had mutual friends with a potential client. He is career-driven, but a family man first. While climbing the career ladder he bought a home to share with his children near their school. When the boys got a bit older, their mother had them start in a different school district. My client began seeing them less. We agreed to work together, but only if we could get into one specific neighborhood. We persisted and succeeded in finding the right fit.
He’s now home.
This is when I realized that being a realtor isn’t only a job. It’s my calling to help people that strive to learn and grow for a better life and their children’s future.
I also realized that I want for others what I didn’t have growing up. Stability, security, peace, and comfort. I guide my clients to it. When the world is so hectic and pulls time away from what and who you love,
finding the right fit home is everything.
Let’s get you home.
