Creighton, a neighborhood in Richmond, is undergoing significant transformation thanks to efforts by the Richmond Redevelopment & Housing Authority. Located about 3 miles northeast of downtown, Creighton is seeing the demolition of old government housing and the construction of new mixed-income units, with completion expected by Summer 2024. The area is known for its ranch-style homes, as well as two-story four-squares and Colonial-inspired houses. Despite its past challenges, Creighton is becoming more appealing, partly due to its proximity to Interstate 64, which facilitates commuting. The neighborhood is zoned for Richmond Public Schools, but parents also have the option of The Steward School, a highly rated private institution. The Woodville Community Pool is another nearby amenity.
