Townhomes for Sale in Rocking K, Rincon Valley

Rocking K is a master-planned community in the Rincon Valley southeast of Tucson. “It’s a very well thought-out development,” says Darren Anderson, broker at Rincon Rising Real Estate, who grew up in the Rincon Valley. “A lot of people move out there because they want their kids to be in the Vail school district. That’s one of the biggest draws, besides the fantastic mountain views.” More than 4,000 homes are planned to fill Rocking K’s 14 neighborhoods. Some neighborhoods are designed to be more affordable, while others will have houses complete with EV charging stations and “smart” setups. At the center of the community, there’s a large park and an elementary and middle school, and city amenities are miles away. “It’s nice for people who don’t want to be in the city,” Anderson says. “The infrastructure is still developing out there. It’s not full-fledged.” Rocking K’s first homes were built in 2021, and many are under construction or in the planning stages. Neighborhood builders include Pulte Homes, Meritage Homes and Lennar.
