A common nickname for The Rivers master-planned community, West Sacramento’s Lighthouse neighborhood stands on what was once the Lighthouse Golf & Country Club. Development in the neighborhood began in the early 2000s, including the addition of several private parks and swimming pools, and new construction has continued into 2025. “There’s a good mix of housing, some more attainable and some higher-end luxury housing,” says Christopher Brown, a principal broker with NEXT Real Estate Group who specializes in new construction.
