Experiencing the Rose Garden lifestyle

Rose Garden is one of San Jose ’s oldest, most sought-after neighborhoods. It's anchored by its defining landmark, the stunning San Jose Municipal Rose Garden, and it boasts a striking collection of diverse homes from the early 1900s. While the neighborhood has a peaceful, storybook setting, homeowners are still close to city conveniences and nearby attractions like Rosicrucian Park.

An eclectic mix of single-family homes

Rose Garden has a true architectural mix and great curb appeal. You’ll find beautifully preserved Colonial Revivals, Tudor Revivals, Spanish cottages and Craftsman bungalows dating back to the 1920s, alongside contemporary or Mediterranean-style mansions from the 2000s. Properties have nicely landscaped lawns with neat garden beds, while tree-lined streets and sidewalks give the area a suburban and idyllic feel. “Rose Garden is an old neighborhood with a storybook setting,” says Alana George, Realtor at Intero Real Estate Services with over 10 years of experience. “The area has beautiful historical homes with a lot of character, and there’s also custom-built new constructions with comparable prices. The lots are bigger, and everyone’s lawn is so nice. It feels like it’s straight out of a movie.”
