Abbeville high is the best and worst place ever experienced. There are many good moments and plenty bad moments, but we make try to make more good moments than bad ones

Some teachers were so nice and helpful, whereas some did not care about their students at all and frequently lashed out at us for no reason. Before we left due to Covid-19, there was a week of complete unrest. We had lockdowns practically every day, constant fights, and even a shooting threat. It is a diverse school yet racism is still prevalent. The school does not have much to offer but I like it because of my classmates and the few lovely teachers.

Personally, Abbeville High School is like a bag full of trail mix: most of the bag is filled with nuts (which I don't like), but there are the occasional pretzels that are pretty decent. The problem I have most about this school is the lack of funding it receives. With no money, most of the clubs available to us students are unappealing, which decreases funding for these clubs even more. Then, it discourages the formation of clubs that I actually like (math and chess) because there is no money for these clubs and nobody wants to join because there is no money. It is a perpetual cycle that makes Abbeville High worse and worse when it comes to school participation and spirit. Still, the teachers and learning at this school are pretty decent. I've come to respect and love most of the teachers I have learned from, and I even learn life lessons outside of the classroom from them. They are, without a doubt, the highlight of Abbeville High, second to the enormous diversity of the school.
