The National Inventors Hall of Fame School, Center for STEM is a unique and comprehensive STEM-focused middle school that promotes problem-based learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The nationally recognized, highly rated school serves students in grades fifth through eighth from the neighborhood and surrounding areas through an annual lottery process. The middle school is recognized as a leader in STEM education because of its learning model that works to pair students with community-wide partners and innovators. NIHF STEM learners can work alongside Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company engineers while also having access to The University of Akron faculty and their research labs and staff.
The school, which is centrally located downtown and housed within the former National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation, was completely remodeled and opened in 2010. Students at NIHF STEM can compete in national robotics competitions and enjoy mentorship programs from Goodyear resident engineers and many collaborative opportunities with Invent Now inductees.

I believe it's a pretty average school other than it having a robotics team and a language-learning class. There are some very impactful coaches who I admire dearly however some of the administrators are lackluster and some are even rude. The building is really run down, I'd say the library is the most comfortable place out of it all.

STEM High School is great for a learning environment. You definitely won't leave stem without some skill. They provide very good teachers who actually teach and let us share ideas; the only thing missing from step is the number of kids and activities like sports and more pathway classes like dental.
