The mission at Towpath Trail, located between Downtown Akron and Highland Square, incorporates the philosophy that no one educational approach is suitable for everyone. As a result, Towpath Trail provides unique methods and techniques to promote academic success, including flexible school hours, individualized learning plans and added teacher support allowing students to work at their own pace.
With most students exceeding standards on state progress and testing measures, Towpath Trail is one of Ohio’s top-rated drop-out prevention high schools.

My experience at Towpath was one I'll always remember for years to come. All of the teachers there helped push me and motivate me through my senior year when I couldn't find the motivation to get up and go. They strived to help me reach my goals.
