Albany High School is overall a very good high school. It feels well organized and I've had many positive experiences with my teachers and counselors. I do think it needs some renovations, though.

DRUGS ARE OPENLY SOLD ON CAMPUS. Every bathroom is a smoke room always at least 4 kids per bathroom lighting up vapes or carts (weed vapes). Absolutely insane administration that doesn't care about the drug use. I LITERALLY WATCHED A STUDENT SNORT COCAINE HE BOUGHT FROM SOMEONE THAT SAME DAY ON CAMPUS IN FRONT OF A STAFFER WHO DID NOTHING. Parents please do not send your kids here, the admin will do nothing to fix any of these issues unless a message is sent that their behavior is unacceptable.

The experience in this school has been amazing; even while classes may be challenging, some amazing teachers are ready to help students. I don't have any preferred changes at the current moment.
