My experience at Albany has been conflicting. Some good and some bad days. There's been times where me and my peers would have the time of our lives. Like at Pep-rallys. It is a pro dominated white school. So yes, of course there has been multiple racial controversy. A lot of unfair punishments. If it was more diverse it would be much better. More teachers of color and different ethnicities and races. Overall it's been an okay experience.

There are some good teachers and some bad. Some are focused on your education while others are not. I wish they would prepare us more for the ACT. They are more worried about our overall test scores. They are not worried about us learning the information we need to be prepared for college.

I like the at home small atmosphere but that also gives us less opportunities for exploring our future, top colleges, good financial aid, etc. We also have a staff shortage at times and some teachers don't have the motivation to teach.

My senior year at Albany Highschool in louisiana has been inefficient to say the least. The administators have hired multiple teachers unqualified to teach subjects. For example, I have my dual enrollment statistics class where they hired a teacher who knew nothing about statistics and told us to us...

As a parent, I have been satisfied with Albany High. The students work hard, they support their school, extracurricular activities abound, and are encouraged and pushed by an equally supportive staff. #GeauxHornetNation!

I graduated from AHS several years ago and believe it is a great institution of learning, if effort is put forth. Just like any other school, the teachers cannot force the students to learn, 50% of the responsibility for learning relies on the students eagerness to learn. I put forth effort, was pop...

I graduated from Albany about 9 years ago. Its a popularity contest. I was popular but Im grown now so I can see how horrible Albany was. Take my word on what im saying because im stating what I know for a fact. If a student is not into sports(cheerleading included) then they are on their own. Out o...
