I have loved my experience at West Albany. The teachers are passionate about the students, and the student body is very spirited. In general, classes are preparing us for college.

West Albany is a really good school for a public school. The over all school culture is really strong and we go all out for school sport week and pep assembly's.

Staff and teachers are excellent. New construction is beautiful. Old building is disgusting. Needs some tweaking as far as advisors and resources.

West Albany is the best school I have ever seen they are good at sports and academics and also they beat south Albany every time the play them because west is better south sucks.

All that glitters is not gold. Folks in Albany know about West, but posting this for parents, like us, who are moving here from outside the area and don't know the score. I am very disappointed in the lack of concern and effort shown by the staff at WAHS. I have experienced these issues with office staff, teachers, as well as Assistant Principals. There are definitely committed and caring teachers at this school, but the issues with their staff far outweigh these ben...
