Algona High School prepared me all four year with great classes that provided me a well rounded education. They care for their students and allow many great opportunities to try new things. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful to students. With such high number of students it is a great place to meet new people.

There was a ton of bullying problems that administration refused to acknowledge, even after being asked to multiple times. They force the kids to do useless activities that can cause mental breakdowns and panic attacks. The school is not well equipped for neurodivergent and/or queer students.

He had a great high school career here. I've made lots of friends and Mande many memories with them! I recommend getting as involved as you can because it makes the experience worth while. My teachers are always there to help me get better and understand the information we're learning!
