South mountain was a pretty good middle school in the Allentown area. I felt like i learned a lot and the classes were challenging, in a good way. The teachers actually cared about the students. The building is overall clean. There were always events going on, which made the experience more exciting. There are also a good amount of clubs and sports, a lot of variety.

Disgusting. Bullying from both teachers and students, yet the district refuses to intervene. Extremely poor education too. South Mountain has to be the worse school in the district. They refuses to intervene when my daughter was being bullied by a small group of girls. I think this is the worst school I've ever seen. For the past 3 yrs my son has struggled since day one! I am so glad I am relocating back to NY.
