Wonderful staff and great opportunities for all kids! Great education, sports, forensics, clubs, music... so much for everyone. Small enough everyone knows each other and helps each other out... but big on opportunities!

Pederson elementary is a wonderful school! We are easy to judge those are teaching our children, when we may want to look in our own front door and ask if we are doing everything in our power at home to help with there education. the whole Altoona school district pretty much just cares about wealthy kids, and are just fake with everyone else, they almost can't stand the kids that come from the mobile home park, they talk about kids and there parents...the schools are in chaos, discipline is only for the not wealthy kids.

I have had my daughter at this school since Kindergarten and love it! The first teacher she had really brought enthusiasm for learning into her teaching and it showed every day! The teachers are great and my daughter continues to learn a lot as the years go by. I highly recommend this school for any...
