The teachers here are super supportive and always offering help with school and stuff outside of school. Professional staff there are very open to new ideas and actually listen to student input. School lunch is decent and all classes offered full many students interests.

I think it's really easy for kids to find things to complain about, but I've learned that you get out of school exactly what you put into it. Wissahickon HS has some pretty amazing teachers that have dedicated themselves to educating kids. We have all had a rough few years with covid and shootings and what seems like more stress than normal times, but at Wiss there is a real effort for the staff at all levels to be there for everyone. Not everyone is open to receiving what is there for them taking, but they should be. 10 stars for the guidance counselors... and 100 if you're lucky enough to get Mrs White for Chem.

I like the quality of teachers and course offerings. I feel that the teachers and counselors are always available and supportive. There is also a wide range of extra curricular activities if you are not sports oriented.
