I have gone here since prekindergarten and I have to say I have hated every moment here. The lower school can't read, some teachers seem to be more focused on students having fun over getting a good education, and students seem to be able to do whatever they want to others with little to no discipline. Overall, I would NOT recommend Amelia Academy to anyone.

Public schools and our child's current private school closed so we were referred here by family who have students here and also teach here. It has been an absolute god send that we found AA. Wonderful education, my child has been at the Academy since preschool. Good education with higher expectations than a public school.

My son's kindergarten was the only saving grace for this school. I had to take him every day because the county puts K-12 on the same bus. Many kids fall through the cracks here. Don't expect anyone in administration to do anything in a timely manner or return phone calls. Parent involvement in this...
